There has been a slight change in the format, instead of submitting a completed finished solution, we are inviting prospects to submit their ideas in the form of a proposal. No development is necessary, depending on the submission.

    1. Can I combine more than one component for implementing an open source project/solution in this competition?

Yes, you can use more than one open source software component in your proposal and project.

The following is the excerpt taken from the competition website:

    Project Implementation:
"Participants can make use of any APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that are not proprietary from any commercial products."

In addition, it is also stated in the competition's website, the usage of supporting open source software should be clearly definied in the proposal.

    1. Is it true that the proposed solution must be a web-based application?

No, this statement is incorrect. We accept any type of project and we do not limit our scope to web-based application only. Please refer to the scope of the proposal in the competition's website for more information.
